Ms. Andrea Magdalene D’Souza is a dedicated academician and researcher with over six years of specialized experience in higher education. A high achiever from the outset, she secured Second Rank in her Master of Arts in Psychology at Goa University and is a qualified Assistant Professor through the State Eligibility Test (SET). Prior to joining Don Bosco College, Ms. D’Souza served as a faculty member at the postgraduate level at St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa. Her pedagogical approach is rooted in Bloom’s Taxonomy, where she integrates advanced digital tools—including AI, Mentimeter, and Google Classroom—to create a dynamic, future-ready learning environment. Her core expertise lies in Psychopathology, Social Psychology, and Positive Psychology. An active contributor to psychological research, Ms. D’souza’s work on gratitude interventions, emotional maturity, and AI-driven academic support has been featured in multiple peer-reviewed publications. Her scholarly work has been presented at prestigious platforms, including the 7th APSPA International Conference. and has served as a Research Assistant for an international initiative. Her analytical depth is further supported by her proficiency in SPSS statistical analysis. Beyond the classroom, she has delivered sessions on Drug Abuse and Emotional Maturity and is proficient in conducting Aptitude Testing as part of community outreach, providing students with vital career and psychological insights. Ms. D’Souza is a committed mentor who has played a pivotal role in student success through dissertation guideship and personal counselling.
