Nehal N. Mandrekar is a passionate and dedicated Physical Education professional with over seven years of experience in teaching and coaching. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Physical Education from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University and completed her M.P.Ed as a Gold Medallist from Savitribai Phule Pune University with an outstanding CGPA of 9.95. She is UGC-NET and MH-SET qualified.
She serves as Assistant Professor in Physical Education at Don Bosco College, where she actively teaches, mentors students, and promotes sports participation. Along with academics, she has strong coaching experience in rugby and karate. She has worked with Goa Rugby Union as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Team Coach for U-18 and Senior Women teams, and was appointed Senior Coach for the Women’s Rugby Team during the 37th National Games held in Goa.
In addition, she is a Certified Yoga Instructor from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Certified State-Level Badminton Umpire under the Goa Badminton Association. Her involvement in yoga, badminton officiating, rugby, and karate reflects her wide engagement in sports education and athlete development. She has presented research papers at national and international conferences and has served as a resource person for refresher courses, workshops, and self-defense training programs.
