Students of the TYBBA – Travel & Tourism programme brought recognition to the institution through their participation in the Goa Yuva Tourism Meet 2026, held at the NIO Auditorium, Dona Paula. Yash Gupta and Yuvraj Rajpurohit, both TYBBA Travel & Tourism students, represented the institution at the competition, which featured two thematic tracks: “Digital Agenda & AI to Redesign Goa’s Tourism Future” and “Goa Beyond Beaches – Scaling Sustainable Tourism Future.” The event brought together 10 teams and 20 participants who competed across the two tracks.
The institution is pleased to announce that Yuvraj Rajpurohit secured First Place in Track 1, “Digital Agenda & AI to Redesign Goa’s Tourism Future.” He was awarded a prize of ₹25,000 for his achievement.



A noteworthy aspect of the students’ participation was their invitation to join the panel discussions held on stage alongside other dignitaries. Yash Gupta and Yuvraj Rajpurohit were the only two student participants invited to contribute to the panel discussions on their respective themes, providing them with an opportunity to share their perspectives on emerging trends and the future of tourism in Goa. Dr. Madhumita Mahatme accompanied the students at the event.
The achievement reflects the students’ active engagement with contemporary tourism issues and their ability to contribute confidently to discussions on technology, sustainability, and the future of tourism in Goa.
