An awareness session on “Financial Literacy & Stock Market Awareness” was organised for the students of SY BBA (General) in association with the Metropolitan Stock Exchange on 22nd September 2026. The session aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of financial markets and help them relate classroom concepts to real-life financial decisions.
Mr. Devendrra Tare conducted the session and engaged the students through an interactive discussion on financial literacy and stock market awareness. The resource person explained the basic aspects of the financial market and discussed the importance of understanding an investment before committing funds. Topics such as savings, investments, shares, risk and return, and the functioning of stock exchanges were discussed in a manner that students could relate to their everyday financial decisions. Students also had the opportunity to interact with the resource person and raise questions about the stock market and investment-related matters.
The session on Financial Literacy & Stock Market Awareness served as a useful extension of classroom learning. The practical discussion and interaction with Mr. Devendrra Tare helped students gain a better understanding of financial markets and highlighted the importance of financial awareness in making informed financial decisions.
