The Men’s and Women’s Swimming Teams of Don Bosco College, Panjim, participated in the Inter-Collegiate Swimming Championship organised by Goa University on 4th September 2026 at the Campal Swimming Pool, Panjim, Goa.


A total of 76 boys and 49 girls from various colleges participated in the championship, creating a highly competitive sporting atmosphere. The event showcased remarkable talent, dedication, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm among the participants.


In the Girls’ 50 metres Freestyle event, Janhavi Borkar secured 3rd place, bringing recognition to the college.


Overall, the participation of the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Teams was noteworthy and contributed positively to Don Bosco College’s sporting presence at the inter-collegiate level. Janhavi Borkar’s achievement is a matter of pride for the college and reflects the students’ dedication and commitment to excellence in sports.
