The Women’s Badminton team of Don Bosco College, Panjim, participated in the Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championship organised by Goa University , held on 5th August 2026 at SAG Campal Indoor stadium . A total of 40 colleges took part in the championship, creating a highly competitive sporting atmosphere that showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship.
The team began their campaign with a strong performance against Dhempe College Miramar, demonstrating preparation, coordination, and determination.
In the pre quarter round they faced Parvatibai Chowgule college in a closely contested match and, despite a commendable effort, were unable to progress further.
Overall, the team’s participation was noteworthy and contributed positively to the college’s sporting presence at the inter-collegiate level.
