The Mass Communication and Journalism department conducted a lateral course for students titled, “Create Impact: Media, Campaigns and Advertising in the Real World” on 8th and 9th May 2026. Mrs. Parvish Andani Kamat, founder of Anka Services and Etech Skill Academy was the resource person.
The sessions focused on bridging classroom learning with real-world advertising and media execution. Modules covered included Brand Story, Positioning, Digital Media, PR Campaigns, and Political Communication. Students explored how campaigns are planned, structured, and executed in practical environments.
Interactive discussions focused on audience psychology, messaging, and campaign impact. A highlight of the workshop was the student group presentations and campaign concepts. “It was encouraging to see strong participation and creativity from the students. Grateful to Principal Prof. Teotone Vaz and Asst. Prof. Christal Ferrao for their support. Thank you to the faculty and students for the excellent interaction and engagement throughout the workshop,” Mrs. Parvish Andani Kamat said.
The workshop ended with happy students proudly holding their certificates.
