Spirit, Skill, and Success: Don Bosco College Triumphs at Agnelite Whimsical 2026

The students of Don Bosco College, Panjim, enthusiastically participated in the Agnelite Whimsical Intercollegiate Sports Event 2026, organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar, on March 18, 2026. Held at the host college campus in Pilar, the event brought together students from seven colleges, creating a vibrant platform for sports, creativity, and team-based competitions.
The event was marked by high energy, sportsmanship, and healthy competition, with the students of Don Bosco College delivering commendable performances across a variety of events throughout the day.


One of the major highlights of the event was the outstanding performance of the team comprising Yardan Vaz, Jaeden Diniz, Veloshka Amberly Pereira, Zarah Rodrigues, Agnel Faria, and Shavin Da Costa, who secured first place in Anthem of Champions with an impressive and well-coordinated presentation. Shavin Da Costa also excelled individually by winning first place in Voice of Game, showcasing exceptional confidence and strong communication skills.
The college also recorded notable success in several other categories. The Zumba team—Naresh Kankonkar, Zarah Rodrigues, Vaishnavi Sharma, Agnel Faria, Selwyn D’Silva, Jaeden Diniz, Shweta Basbire, and Miss Prissie Fernandes—delivered an energetic and synchronized performance, earning second place. In the creative segment, Amala Krishnan secured second place in Painting, while Rishit Lotlikar won second place in Freestyle Juggling with a remarkable display of skill.


Further adding to the college’s achievements, the Tug of War team comprising Abner Pereira, Joshua Fernandes, Shweta Basbire, Veloshka Amberly Pereira, Jaeden Diniz, Mckinley Velanko D’Souza, and Alrina Mesquita secured third place, demonstrating strength and excellent teamwork. In the Tie Breaker event, Selwyn D’Silva, Thaïs Mascarenhas, and Yardan Vaz worked effectively together to claim third place. Individual performances were equally praiseworthy, with Sufyan Shaikh securing third place in Langdi and Agnel Faria achieving third place in Skipping.


With consistent performances across multiple events, Don Bosco College, Panjim proudly secured the Overall Runners-Up position, reflecting the hard work, determination, and team spirit of the students, as well as the encouragement and support extended by the institution.


The event proved to be a memorable and enriching experience, fostering unity, confidence, and sportsmanship among all participants.
