On 13th February 2026, the students of FY BBA (Travel & Tourism) visited EnviroSkills Academy, Panjim, for an academic field trip aimed at gaining practical exposure to dining etiquettes and the hospitality and skill development industry.

The visit commenced at 10:15 a.m. with an introductory session conducted by the Principal, Chef Moses Fernandes, who provided an overview of the academy’s vision, infrastructure, and academic offerings. He emphasised the essential qualities required in the hospitality workforce, particularly empathy, understanding customer needs, and adaptability, which are crucial for delivering exceptional service in a dynamic industry.
This was followed by an engaging session on dining etiquette conducted by F&B Head Mr Douglas De Souza. Overall, the field trip was insightful and enriching, offering students valuable practical exposure and a deeper understanding of hospitality etiquette and career opportunities in hotel management.
