The college witnessed a solemn yet inspiring Investiture Ceremony on August 3. The event commenced with the singing of the College Anthem, setting a dignified tone for the proceedings. Director of the College, Fr Joaquim Lobo welcomed the gathering, followed by the introduction of Chief Guest, Fr Tamatur Cardozo.
In his address, Fr Tamatur emphasised the significance of leadership and urged the newly appointed council members to shoulder their responsibilities with dedication. The council members then took their positions, and their names were formally announced by Asst. Prof. Shareen Alphonso. The highlight of the ceremony was the pinning of badges to the newly appointed office bearers by Fr Joaquim, Fr Tamatur, and College Principal, Dr Cedric. The newly invested council members then took the oath, administered by the principal.
To symbolise the auspicious beginning, the dignitaries along with the college General Secretary jointly lit the ceremonial lamp. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Asst. Prof. Nigel Barreto, expressing gratitude to all those involved in making the investiture ceremony a success. The investiture ceremony was a resounding success, inspiring the newly appointed council members to embrace their roles as leaders and serve the college community with distinction.
