The Sports committee in association with the Health and fitness club organised a 3-a-side Basketball competition for the students of the college on 09th March 2024. In total, 8 classes participated in the tournament. Tournament kicked off with SYBCA taking on TYBBA in which the former emerged victorious. In the first Semi-finals, FYBBA outplayed SYBCA to reach the finals. In the second Semi-finals, FYBCOM surprised a talented TYBAMC team to reach the finals.


The Finals was an end to end affair with both teams playing at a very high intensity. At the end, FYBBA won the match with a 14-06 score line. Director of the college, Fr.Joaquim Lobo was the chief guest for the event while Principal of the College, Dr. Cedric Silveira was the Guest of Honour. Fr. Joaquim in his address to the gathering was delighted to see two first year teams in the final and encouraged them to keep showing such enthusiasm in future events. The Runners Up trophy was presented to the FYBCOM class while the Winner’s trophy was presented to the FYBBA class. Nathan Viegas of FYBBA was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament(Male) and the Best Player of the Tournament(Female) was awarded to Thais Mascarenhas.
