The Department of Computer Applications of Don Bosco College, Panjim, organized an overnight camp at NV Eco Farm, Dabal, Dharbandora, Goa on 01-03-2024 and 02-03-2024 for the students of the Department. The camp was attended by 37 students and 3 faculty members of the department. The camp aimed to foster team spirit, leadership skills, and interpersonal communication among the students.


Various activities were conducted during the camp stay which included a tour of the farm where students were given about various Flora and Fauna at the NV Eco Farm. The students also got an opportunity to see different butterflies in the Butterfly garden. The students and faculty were taken on a trek to the jungle where they enjoyed being admits nature. Bonfire was organised on day 1 night where the students got together to sing, dance and enjoy the pleasant night. Students also participated in activities like rock climbing and zip line. Students also enjoyed the playing in the swimming pool and a nature water spring. The students participated enthusiastically in all the activities and gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of rural life. The camp also helped the students to bond with each other and with the faculty members. The feedback from the students was positive and they expressed their gratitude to the faculty members for arranging such a memorable and educational experience.
